5.The Plastic Menace

Plastic has become one of the greatest environmental threats to our planet today. Because it is non-biodegradable, a single plastic bag can take hundreds of years to break down. Millions of tons of plastic waste end up clogging our drainage systems, polluting our rivers, and filling up landfills. When swallowed by cows, street animals, or marine life, it causes painful deaths. Furthermore, burning plastic releases toxic fumes into the air that cause respiratory diseases. To save our earth, it is crucial to drastically reduce our single-use plastic consumption and replace it with eco-friendly alternatives like jute, cloth, or paper bags.
